PLM4000 Series Machines are the next generation Pick-and-Place systems following the successful PLM2000 Series. All of the advantages of PLM2000 have been used with many improvements aimed at better performance, higher placement rate, automation of many time-consuming operator assisted tasks and low cost maintenance.
The PLM4000 Series machine operates with two placement heads and almost doubles the throughput of PLM2000. The special designed feeders make possible simultaneous picking of two components at the same time.
Component centering is done by the vision system which uses the latest optical recognition technologies. The calibration of the vision system is fully automatic with minimum user input.
PLM4000 Series Machines are operated by a standard PC with 15" LCD TFT and Microsoft's WindowsXP OS.
This product is currently under development. It will be released in the middle of the 2005.
